Okay I know everybody’s talking about Britney Spear’s “latest comeback”. Just early at work with the TV on, Today show and the CNN all had something to say about her appearance on last night’s VMA. I’ve seen Britney Spears performance last year and it was horrible. It was an MTV exploitation and humiliation of Britney Spears. I was actually rooting for her because with all the bad publicity she’s
getting last year, I was actually hopeful that she would just show everyone differently…but she flopped BIG TIME. Now however the audience gave her a standing ovation for opening the VMA. Well it’s not a great feat but I think it’s nice of the people to show her support because really she had a BAD time. Give the girl a break, you paparazzo!
Despite her gradual climb up to being a respected artist again, one thing for sure that hasn’t change about her is her fashion sense. As Michael Kors from Project Runway would say “Slutty slutty slutty!”.

Lets be honest…. this was the worst VMAs ever. The awards went to the people that the judges felt “deserved to finaly win”; not the pepole with the best songs or videos. Britney has done very well at over coming her problems, but her music is sub-par Eurotrash techno. All the other Nominees were much more deserving.
The performances were lackluster at best. Christina was the only artist there that actualy did the VMA thing by using an interesting set, changing her familiar songs, and in general suprising people. T-Pain was horrible… I’ll leave it at that for him.
Russle Brand is a douche. He wasnt funny. I have seen british comedy before. I like british comedy. I hate Russle Brand.
All in all, this year was more of a Britney Spears promotional then a real VMA.

the best part of the VMA’s was Kanye West’s performance at the end… the worst part was the host (what’s with the accent?)
