This blog is not about those online survey sites that promises you free gift card or cash or item reward when you answer their surveys but in the end you need to enroll in some credit card or subscriptions before you get your reward (wow that’s a mouthful!) If you like shopping, like me!, keep all your receipts. Because in the receipts some stores have surveys (this is a legitimate survey) regarding your shopping experience in their store. Follow the instructions in the receipt and in the end you’ll be rewarded with some discount or free item on your next purchase.

I’m a stickler for keeping my receipts (who knows when I will change my mind and want to return the item, right?). At first I ignore the survey promos mentioned in the receipt because I’m lazy and I always forget. But now I see the wisdom in completing those surveys. Some of the shops that offer this is Old Navy where they’ll give you a 10% discount on your next purchase. I took advantage of this 3 times already! At Ulta, where you can avail of a free Ulta item when you purchase more than $20-$30 using that receipt. At Victoria Secret, they give $10 discount when you purchase $50 or more. At Bath and Body Works, they give $10 off when you purchase $30 or more. At Walgreens, you can earn a chance to win a $$$ shopping spree. At GAP, where they give 10% discount on your next purchase. I definitely save a lot just by taking a few minutes of my time filling up those surveys.

So next time you buy something, keep the receipts, look for the survey promo, fill it up, and save it for your next purchase! :)
