Grey’s Anatomy is back for its 5th season, which aired its first episode on Sept 25, 2008. At first I was unmotivated to watch it after its (*imho*) unsuccessful season 4. Actually I lost interest in watching almost all tv series when the writer’s strike happened because everytime I catch an episode, it was a repeat. But now things are heating up on Grey’s Anatomy.

Exciting: At last Meredith commit to moving in with McDreamy. After a series of break-up and make-up, these couples finally decide to stick together. Meredith still has issues but with the help of a therapist, she’s learning to let go of it. Good for her!

Disappointing: Izzie and George broke up. After wrecking George and Callie’s marriage, they end up breaking up too? I guess they never really fell in love or love in this hospital is just so shallow.

Annoying: Lexie Grey is falling in love for George. And being in the same apartment doesn’t help her at all. This would be predictable if George and Lexie end up being together…what’s next? Another breakup? (George is not even a heartthrob!)

Intriguing: A new romance is brewing up – and it’s between 2 girls! Talk about boosting the ratings up. Callie and Dr. Hahn are interested with each other. Dr. Hahn is kinda cute when she’s faced with Callie – she looks flustered and sweet. Dr. Bailey’s expression when she discovered the possible romance between them is just so priceless!

Interesting: Izzie is reconsidering her view of Alex. Will they have a second shot on romance? IMHO, it can be interesting to see how they approach a romantic relationship this time after going through so much. Poor Jane Doe…well she made her choice when she hooked up with another tv series with her acting the main role.

Funny: As usual no-nonesense Dr. Bailey keeps the team and hospital in line and many times joins the race to getting the most difficult surgeries. Cristina is still ornery, snappy, competitive (that’s why I love her character!) and she’s getting overwhelmed with her bestfriend Meredith’s love trouble. And the Chief is on a mission when he learns that Seattle Grace Hospital is on the 13th rank for best teaching institute – he’s definitely going to change that!

Oh the world of Grey’s Anatomy – it sure won’t be dull this season!
