I can say that drinks of Starbucks particularly the Frappuccino (my most ordered drink) are not similar in all Starbucks stores. I would say that I love the frap in the Philippines more than the frap here in the US. My brother works part-time for Starbucks and I can tell that their store has the sweetest frap ever! It’s all sugar and cream. He even takes home his own made frap and when I tasted it, it was too sweet for me. It doesn’t have the Starbucks quality at all. I love the bottled Starbucks frappuccino. My favorite flavor is coffee. I often buy a dozen in Costco to last me 3 months. The downside of it was the bottle is small that it left me wanting for more. When I realized how much calories one small bottle has, I’ve weaned myself from drinking it.
Starbucks coffee is truly outstanding. In the office, we sometimes brew Starbucks
coffee. The taste is milder and somewhat sweeter than the other coffee brands. With 4 packets of creamer and 4 packets of sugar, I’m in coffee heaven. I drink coffee rarely because I know that if I drink it often enough I’ll end up diabetic. Starbucks coffee doesn’t give me that kick to stay awake the whole morning though (maybe because I diluted it too much). Initially I thought that I’m incompatible with Starbucks coffee because everytime I drink it in the office, I will end up going to the bathroom. But it seems that it just takes getting used to.
Starbucks Tazo teas are wonderful. It’s sweet with flavors that are simple and easy on the tastebuds. The cold tazos are refreshing while the hot tazo teas are soothing. I love the wild sweet orange tazo tea. It gives an extra yummy flavor to an ordinary tea. Add a drop of honey and you’ll feel your body totally relaxing.
I never thought I would be a big Starbucks consumer. But with Starbucks stores littered in every corner (our area has 3 within 2 miles of each other), I just can’t help it.
