Last week Boys before Flower aired its final episode on Korean TV, ending at episode 25. So for those who watched it, how did you find the series? What I love about Korean’s F4 is the guys of F4. They look really fine. I didn’t like the heroine. She just looks uncute. And her facial expression is way too contrived. The whole drama production was really expensive. The drama spent really well on locations, cars, and other stuffs. As for the story, I didn’t particularly enjoy it. It’s too much drama for me. This story as I know  should be light and fun with a little bit of drama. I find myself skipping the dramatic parts. In the Taiwanese version the drama always has some fun endearing moments that make me laugh really hard and thrill me to the bones. Here it’s tiring to see them crying or being unhappy because the couple always separate.

What’s also different in the Korean version is each character was given substance. Especially Goo Jun Pyo’s mother who has a major role in many episodes. Soh E-jung was also given a history and a love story with Ga-Eul. I wanted to replay his cutest face/smile when he reunited with Ga-Eul on the last episode again and again. He has the cutest smile ever! Goo Jun Pyo is hands down the handsomest of the F4 guys. He’s tall, buff and has a very attractive face.  He is charming especially when he does comical. Don’t you find Yoon Ji-hoo and Bae Yong Jun (Winter Sonata guy) similar-looking?

I think the ending of the drama was rushed. But come to think of it, what more can they show? Another break-up between Jun Pyo and Jan Di? When Jun Pyo lost his memory, it just made me groan because it’s back to square one for this ill-fated lovers. The finale too was a bit lacking. No romance at all. Even when the F4 reunited, the acting was awkward like someone is just filling a gap.

So which is your most fave scene? For me it would be when Jun Pyo stopped a truck to hitch back to the snowy mountain when he found out that Jan Di is missing on the blizzard. Isn’t it too romantic? Despite him being so romantic, I still find no chemistry between him and Jan Di. I find it unsurprising that girls aren’t going gaga over Korea’s F4 unlike during Taiwan’s F4. Or maybe I’m just too critical?
