So what transpired on my birthday? This has been one of the memorable birthdays I had. I remember my parents throwing me a party when I was a kid and I’ll be dancing in front of the crowd mindless of everyone with my pretty dress on. Then there’s the time we went to Boracay beach. Weather was nice but the beach was cold. We had fun though. Some birthdays we just went out to eat.

This year, I was working. Come to think of it, this has been the only time I’m working on my birthday. Usually it’s vacation time for me since school’s out for Christmas break or the office is off for break until the New Year. Well I guess it’s part of growing older. Hehehe.  Anyway, I was touched when my employers and another employee gave me cake, card and yellow roses for my birthday. They sang me “Happy Birthday” and took a photo of me with my cake and flowers. I’m new to the office so having done that I’m really thankful.

So work continued on until 5pm. When I stepped out for lunch, I checked my Facebook and there were happy greetings from my friends and family. When I got home, my dad gave me money which I already spent on a Nordstrom blazer. Hehehe. My family and I decided to eat at Cheesecake Factory at University Avenue, Palo Alto since we had 50USD gift card for my birthday dinner. Food was so-so but the waitstaff sang me a “Happy Birthday” and gave me ice cream. Cool!

I hope my next birthday I’ll spend it at Disneyland!!! :)
