Just lately I’ve the desire to experiment and cook new recipes. Since I have a long weekend every week because my job is only 4 days a week, I can devote my time in cooking. Especially now with my father not here at the moment, I’m not pressured to cook meals 3 times a day. I can enjoy cooking at a leisurely pace. Furthermore my guinea pigs (my mom and brother) are easy to please and will eat anything served on the table.

Because we are in possession of a sack of potatoes, a bag of onions and a bag of carrots, I decide to search for recipes around those ingredients. You know,  like what Iron chef does. So in the near future I’m going to try lasagna. When I was younger, I used to bake this and I don’t know why I stopped. Maybe it’s because the ricotta cheese, mozarella cheese and parmesan cheese are expensive. But here in the US, they’re actually cheaper. Ok I know there’s no potatoes or carrots here right? Well the bottom line is, I just want to eat lasagna. Next recipe I’m going to try which I already did but need to practice more is potato salad. I’m going to spice it up a bit and put pineapples in it because I love pineapples in any dish! Next is a vegetarian pasta. Yeah right, me vegetarian? I’m thinking of putting spam for the meat but just pasta tossed by garlic, carrot, green peas and corn. I love corn too!

Ok these recipes are making me hungry and it’s making me want to do grocery already so I can cook! I’ll keep you posted on how my food come out!
